About me
My curiosity about topics such as health and biological processes has not let me go since my school days. I was drawn to medicine, specifically in the direction of prophylaxis, to help prevent certain damage or to work on the cause, because: once the symptoms are there, the process also brings other challenges.
My second passion is the creative side, so after graduation I actually applied to train as a physical therapist and also for a study place for graphic design at the same time. Second was then to become my first professional career.
In parallel, I ...
developed a deep understanding of movement patterns & coordination through +30 years of yoga,
studied the Dorn-Breuss method,
came into contact with osteopathy and acupuncture,
until I finally discovered Rolfing on TV ("Quarks & Co"):
A method that has a holistic networked - so less only symptom-related approach
- and thus can achieve lasting changes!
This convinced me immediately and so, enthusiastic and reminded of my original medical intention, I wrote my application for the training immediately two weeks later.
How much more comprehensive, profound and long-lasting Rolfing can work and be experienced, I then really discovered during the training time - and also now again and again fascinated by positive changes in clients, which can be both tangible and visible.
In order to get an even more comprehensive medical understanding of acute/chronic conditions and limitations of my clients, I have completed a training as a non-medical practitioner.
