Rolfing® & Fascia
DO You Know Your Biggest Sense Organ?
It is the fascia system –
the most important sensory organ for our movement,
body posture, coordination and -perception
- Fascia is the connective tissue encompassing and thoroughly permeates the entire body as a grid: it holds it, keeps it upright, connects and divides it functionally.
- Fascia is crossed by blood vessels, nerves and pain receptors, that responds on various strains.
- Fascia allows the muscles to exert their force, but can independently relax, amplify or contract - depending on the requirements. If the strain gets too intense, the fascia get thicker, shorter and then unfortunately adhere to itself.
